Cobi tfj Bosch, born in South Africa in 1985, is a gifted self taught artist whose roots trace back to the charming village of Steynsrus in the Free State. As the youngest of four siblings, Cobi was immersed in a world where creativity and imagination thrived. While both of her parents pursued teaching as their profession, their individual talents left a lasting impression. Cobi's mother possessed a magical touch with any needlework, boasting green fingers and an innate ability to captivate through storytelling. Meanwhile, his father's skills as a self-taught painter and woodworker enriched him understanding of craftsmanship and self-expression.

 

With an artist's heart and a penchant for graceful provocation, Cobi embarked on a journey of creative exploration. It was at the end of 2021 that he discovered pottery, and his passion for clay ignited. Preferring the process of hand building over throwing on the wheel, Cobi finds solace in the transformative nature of clay, allowing it to shape his emotions and thoughts into tangible works of art.
